We’re the Falkenburgs. A husband and wife wedding photography team: one photographer, one creative director - two distinct roles, two complementary skillsets.
Ours is a partnership built around duality: Tom photographs the day, quietly immersing himself and instinctively reacting, while Laura curates the visual experience, shaping the creative direction behind the images. The result is a gallery rich in both emotional sensitivity and visual restraint.
Two roles, a shared perspective
For us, wedding photography is not just about documenting what happened: the ceremony, the speeches, the party. A celebration is made up of far more than its timeline. It’s the people, the atmosphere, the energy, the creativity. When we present our couples with their wedding gallery, we do so in the hopes that they will be able to look back at their images decades from now and still feel each of those things.
Our creative partnership provides us with a unique perspective. As your photographer, Tom is immersed in your day, responding instinctively and observing quietly. As creative director, Laura’s responsible for what happens afterwards; refining and curating what has been captured to create an intentional body of work.
The result is an experience that feels fully considered, one rooted in trust and collaboration. This allows us to deliver a gallery that is cohesive, emotionally true and visually refined.

Aside from the photographs, one thing almost all of our couples comment on is how Tom made them feel. They often talk of his calming nature, his instinctive ability to bring whatever energy is needed in any given moment, the way he gently guides without ever imposing.
Above all else, Tom understands the importance of human connection and building a relationship based on trust. This is a process that starts long before the wedding day, and in doing so, Tom creates a space for collaboration, where our couples can be fully themselves.
This approach allows Tom to create work that is unforced and emotionally aware. His eye is drawn to movement and light, the things that happen in the in-between. The end result is a gallery full of gestures and glances, tenderness and quiet amongst the chaos. It is a gallery filled with humanity.

She takes the form of your day - the energy, the atmosphere, the emotion - and sets about shaping it to create a body of work that is both refined and visually striking.
It’s not just about looking for the strongest images. It’s considering the tone, the rhythm and emotional resonance. Laura balances emotional sensitivity with creative precision throughout a meticulous process of selection, editing and curation.
