Creating and delivering your photographs or films
We create, edit, deliver and securely back up photographs or films to provide the commissioned work and maintain appropriate business records. Our lawful bases are the performance of our contract and our legitimate interests.

We keep invoices, payment information and tax records to meet our accounting, tax and other legal responsibilities. Our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND INFORMATION ABOUT EVENTS

Our work naturally involves photographing people attending private events. We process those images to fulfil the relevant commission and create an accurate visual record of the event. How images may be delivered, archived, published or otherwise used is also governed by the relevant client agreement and any choices agreed with our clients.

WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary. Recipients may include:

- website hosting, form and client-management providers, including Showit and Dubsado;
- email, calendar, cloud-storage, backup and gallery-delivery providers;
- payment processors, banks, bookkeepers, accountants, insurers, solicitors and other professional advisers;
- photographers, filmmakers, editors, laboratories, album makers and other suppliers involved in delivering a commission;
- wedding planners, venues and suppliers where coordination is necessary; and
- regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where disclosure is required by law.

Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and under their own legal and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom or store information in other countries. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

- contracts, invoices, payment and core client records are normally kept for at least six years after the end of the relevant financial year or client relationship, where needed for tax, accounting or legal purposes;
- optional marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or we determine that they are no longer current;
- cookie information is kept for the periods described in our Cookie Policy; and
- photographs, films, project files and backups are kept in line with our client agreement, archive practices and any legal or insurance requirements.

We may keep limited information for longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it or securely restrict its use.

SECURITY

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

YOUR RIGHTS

CHILDREN

Our website and enquiry form are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the website. Children may appear in photographs created during a commissioned event; those images are handled in line with the relevant client agreement, our professional responsibilities and applicable law.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for how they process information after you leave our website.
